Keen A. Umbehr for Kansas Governor

My name is Keen A. Umbehr.  I worked as a trashman and small business owner for seventeen years before becoming an attorney, so I understand how hard Kansans work for their money.
      As
a citizen, I have engaged in governmental oversight and I experienced firsthand how government officials use/abuse their power to punish their critics. But when I fought back and defended my First Amendment rights, the U.S Supreme Court handed down a victorious 7-2 ruling on June 28, 1996.
If elected governor, I will work to restore fiscal responsibility and accountability to Kansas government, and create a safe environment for citizens, government watchdogs and whistle-blowers alike to report misconduct and wasteful spending, without fear of retaliation.
Finally, I will strive to make Kansas government more accessible and transparent, because the pathway to better government is open government. I humbly ask for your support.  ~ Keen A. Umbehr  (Photo credit: Jack Casner)

Join our Campaign for Kansas Liberty

After decades of fighting for government transparency and accountability from City Hall to the U.S. Supreme Court, first as a citizen and then as an attorney, I am ready to continue that fight from the Office of Kansas Governor.  With your help, we can strive to achieve liberty for all and make certain that laws are applied equally to all citizens - all of the time.

Please join our campaign today.  Our number one need right now is for registered Libertarians who support my candidacy to make plans to attend the Libertarian Party convention in Wichita, Kansas, on April 26, 2013, and cast their vote for my nomination.
The convention will be held at the Holiday Inn Wichita East I-35

Other ways you can help with the Keen in '14 campaign are:

2) Sign up to volunteer for our campaign.
3) Tell your friends and family about Keen.
Tell them in person, on Facebook, Twitter, and in letters to the editor of your local newspayer.
